HERRINGBONE FOR DAYS

I think I am afraid of wallpaper so I just create my own accent walls. Here is my herringbone playroom wall I created with paint and a sharpie! Check out the process below.

First step was to create a template to trace my pattern. I made it our of cardboard - very high tech. Next I outlines my shapes in pencil on the entire wall. Finally I used a ruler and a black sharpie paint pen to go over all of my lines. It was not a quick process, but I did it after dinner over the course of a few nights. The results were very satisfying. I have a super fun energetic accent wall in my kids playroom!
